Content: Nature periodical is available from publisher’s server - Nature Publishing Group (NPG). Science periodical is available from publisher’s server - American Association for the Advancement of Science.
Science database is available to all institutions of higher education and scientific institutions in Poland on the basis of the decision to finance the national academic license by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Nature Physics EISSN: 1745-2481; funding: Department of Physics and Astronomy
Chronological range: from 2005

Electronic versions of Nature and Science periodicals are available on the basis of national academic licenses from 2010:

Nature EISSN: 1476-4687, national license (ICM))
Chronological range: national license for Nature allows for access to volumes from current year and archival volumes from past 4 years (i.e. in the year 2013 access is available for volumes from years 2009-2013). Volumes form year 2010 will be archived on national server.

Science EISSN 1095-9203, national license (ICM)
Chronological range: national license for Science allows for access to volumes from current year and archival volumes from 1997 during the term of the license and does not allow to create national archive.

Thematic scope: physics and chemistry.


Access to database is possible from every workstation in UoW network as well as via proxy server.
