In connection with the ORDINANCE No. 70/2022 of the Rector of the University of Wrocław from April 1st, 2022 on the principles of operation of the University of Wrocław in connection with the COVID-19 epidemic, new rules for using the Wroclaw University Library departments are introduced.

Free Access to the collections at the University Library - opening
We inform our Users that in connection with the new Regulation of the Council of Ministers from November 26th, 2020 and the the Ordinance of the Rector of the University of Wrocław from 26.11.2020 on opening scientific libraries at the University of Wrocław from November 30th, 2020, the University Library’s departments will be open to users in the full-time:
Attention academic teachers from the University of Wrocław,
with connection with the ordinance of the Rector of the University of Wrocław from November 3rd, 2020, on the new academic teacher's employee ID card, we inform academic teachers of the University of Wrocław who use the services of the University Library and departmental libraries of the University of Wrocław on the basis of a library card purchased at WUL, that this card is valid and can still be used.
We would like to inform you that from October 1st this year, 32 individual work cabins located in the Main Reading Room in the WUL's building (level 3) are available for use.
Ordering, reserving and prolonging the use of cabins is possible via the WUL's online catalog. On the WUL's website there is also an icon called Cabin reservation, which will redirect each user directly to the catalog.

We inform our Users, that starting from August 1st, 2020, the University Library have started the process of implementing the automatic collection identification system based on the use of RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) and preparation for making available approximately 400,000 volumes of the newest library materials in the Free Access Area (FA). The final effect of these activities will significantly shorten the user's waiting time for a book, e.g.
The EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) search engine provides simultaneous searching of the OPAC catalog, information e-resources as well as the Digital Library and the Repository of the University of Wroclaw. Information sources offered by the Library are searched quickly and easily using a single search window.
